Dr. Espaillat is an Eye Physician and Surgeon specializing in state-of-the-art, small incision cataract surgery, diabetic eye disease, medical retina and LASIK Laser Vision Correction. He has participated in the research and co-authorship of many published medical reports. As an active surgeon, he has designed multiple surgical devices used during cataract surgery.

Dr. Espaillat has been in practice in South Florida since 2001 and has performed thousands of ocular, retinal and refractive surgical procedures.
